With all the gazillions of quilt pattern designs available we should never have to worry about running out of ideas for barn quilts. But, I decided to try and make a couple of my own. Here's one that I call "Starburst 1". I used some of the colors found in the Starburst candy. You have to look closely but I used white and also cream for the stars tails. I will be making a "Starburst 2" soon that will be a slight variation of this one. This is on a 2 x 2 board. Thanks for looking.

FRIENDSHIP STAR
Here is a different version of the "Friendship Star" that I recently finished. The lady that ordered this has four close friends and each color on this BQ represents one of them. The name is fitting as well. Pretty neat idea. This was made on a 16" birch board.

Just finished this for my sister Kim. It will hang on the front of her house in Bluffs, IL. and is a 2 x 2 on birch.

BELLS and ST. LOUIS
Here is a couple Christmas gifts that I made. "Bells" went to my wife's sister Linda, since her married name is Bell, and "St. Louis" went to her other sister Marilyn, who lives in St. Louis. I made it with the Cardinals and Rams colors. They were made on one foot birch boards.

PINWHEEL
Just finished this one yesterday. Enjoyed doing it and, like most barn quilt designs, the color combinations could be endless. This one will probably sell for a little more than our normal $60 price for a 2 x 2 because it involved more time and material. I think it turned out okay for my first try.
