BLAZING STARS

Here's the two "Blazing Star" BQ's I made for my sister and bro-in-law Kim & Marty Wood. The one on the house is a 2 x 2 and the barns is a 3 x 3. I think they look very nice don't you? You can view these in Bluffs, IL. The house sits just to the north of the Napa Store on Route 100.

THE HANGING OF CORN AND BEANS

Yesterday I got to help hang the Corn and Beans 4 footer that we sold to our friends, Lee and Debbie McKean. Lee is a big John Deere fan and this BQ just seemed to fit his décor. I even got him to pose for a pic. This is what makes creating barn quilts special to me; seeing them hung up for everyone to admire and enjoy. Wouldn't you agree?
