This is the 100th barn quilt that we've made! That may not sound like many to our fellow barn quilt makers but it's a big milestone for us since we started the business last year.
This is a close copy of one that John Stadtmiller, from Laurel Barn Quilts, tells me was first done by Jo Ann May from Ripley Ohio and displayed in 2006 on the Brown County Ohio quilt trail. Thanks for all your help John!
I've changed the colors slightly from the original design but kept the "Lone Star" pattern. Though the picture makes the border look black, it's actually dark blue to match the inner star.
This happened to be an odd size board measuring 45.5" and will not be for sale because of it's significance and, hopefully, will be soon hanging on display at Buck & Jo's Too's restaurant in Winchester, IL.
Thanks for looking.
Jesus Christ is our pattern for life. "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." John 13:34

FLOWING GLORY'S HOME
Here's a picture our cousins, the Coryell's, just sent to us of the "Flowing Glory" barn quilt that we made for their friends and ours, the Edmonds, who then gifted it to the Coryell's son and daughter-in-law. It is hanging near Conway, Missouri. The building used to be the old "Good Springs Church" but was moved to their farm years ago and converted to their garage. It really adds color to the building and looks great! We love seeing all the different places our barn quilts end up calling home.
DIRECTOR'S DREAM - GREEN
Here's another "Director's Dream" we just finished. This is our green version. We make it in blue, brown, red, green and, soon to be, yellow. This one is hanging at the "Buck and Jo's Too" restaurant in Winchester and is a 2 x 2 for sale for $60. Thanks for looking.
